
Former Tinderet Member of Parliament, Henry Kosgey, has lost his wife, Mama Zipporah Kosgey.
In a statement on Saturday, June 13, President William Ruto mourned the death of Mama Zipporah and extended his sympathies to the bereaved family.

“I am saddened by the passing of Mama Zipporah Kosgey, beloved wife of former Tinderet MP Henry Kosgey. My heartfelt condolences go to my friend Kosgey, the children Allan, Charlene, and Alexander, and the entire family at this tough time of grief.
“Mama Zipporah was a devoted wife, mother, and matriarch whose love, strength, and kindness touched many lives. As you mourn her passing, know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We stand with you and share in your sorrow during this painful moment. Rest In Peace, Mama Zipporah,” Ruto stated.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen on is part mourned Mama Zipporah as a woman of immense faith and great devotion to her family and community.
“I am greatly saddened to learn of the passing of Mama Zipporah Kosgey, the beloved spouse of former Minister and Tinderet MP Henry Kosgey.
“Mama Zipporah was a woman of immense faith and great devotion to her family and community. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and everyone who knew her. May her memory give comfort to her family and everyone who knew her,” he stated.
State House Chief of Staff and Head of the Public Service Felix Koskei also sent his message of condolence to Kosgey’s family.
“I mourn the passing of Mrs Zippy Jerotich Kosgey the spouse of mzee Henry Kiprono Kosgey. My condolences to waziri Kosgey, Allan, Alex, and all their siblings. May her soul rest in peace,” he said.
