Naivasha Member of Parliament Jayne Kihara has denied reports claiming she has dumped former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
In a post on Thursday, January 29, Kihara described the fake reports as coordinated attacks by bloggers allegedly linked to powerful interests.
“I see Singapore bloggers are now on my case. Someone must remind them who Jayne Kihara is in our Kenyan Politics. I think they’re used to dealing with politicians whose only language in politics is money, and they now assume every politician has a price tag,” she stated.
Kihara explained that she made up her mind long ago never to associate with Ruto, adding that there would be nothing reasonable to attract him back to Kenya Kwanza.
“For avoidance of doubt, I left the lying camp a long time ago, and I never left anything that belongs to me there that can make me go back,” she added.
“If you’re looking for leaders to buy with your looted public money and anyone suggested my name to you, please send them back to the market.”
The Naivasha MP said her stance was part of a broader struggle to reform the country, saying the political moment was about confronting corruption, dictatorship, extrajudicial killings, and what she described as a culture of deception.
Kihara further declared her readiness to make personal sacrifices in pursuit of national reform.
“The journey to liberate this Country from the shackles of Corruption, dictatorship, extrajudicial killings, and perpetual lies is not about Jayne Kihara or Rigathi Gachagua but about the current and future generations. Some of us are ready to sacrifice anything for the sake of this Nation,” she concluded.
