
The family of Uasin Gishu Senator Jackson Mandago is in mourning following the death of their mother, Mama Esther Lelei.
Mandago’s family confirmed that Mama Esther passed away on Friday Janury 30, at Eldoret Hospital while undergoing treatment.
Following her death, many leaders took to social media to send their condolences to Senator Mandago’s family.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen described the loss of a mother as deeply painful and offered prayers for strength and comfort.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with you, my brother, Uasin Gishu Senator Jackson Mandago, and your family, following the passing of your beloved mother, Mama Esther Lelei.
“The pain of losing a mother is profound and beyond words. May God grant you comfort, strength, and peace during this time of immense grief,” Murkomen stated.
Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii also sent his condolences to Mandago’s family, saying, “On behalf of the County Government and the great people of Uasin Gishu, I wish to convey my heartfelt condolences to Senator Jackson Mandago and his family on the passing of his beloved mother, Esther Lelei.”
Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, in a statemet said he paid a visit to Senator Mandago to offer his condolences. Koskei was accompanied by a section of leaders from Uasin Gishu.
“I condoled with Senator Jackson Mandago following the loss of his mother, Mama Esther Tapsiarga Lelei, at Soy Constituency, Uasin Gishu County.
“I extend my condolences to the family; may God grant them comfort, resilience, and peace following her loss. May Mama rest in eternal peace,” said Koskei.
