This is further solidified by actions such as his stated desire to build an extravagant church at the presidential residence, a move he defended by stating, “I have no apologies to make, kwa kujenga kanisa, I have no apology.”
This grandiose self-image manifests as what one human rights consultant described as an “all-knowing and all-powerful approach to governance” and an “inflated sense of self-importance”.
This analysis suggests a “puffed-up ego that exaggerates one’s own importance and abilities,” leading to a belief that he is “the smartest guy in the room” and that all others must act as “mere cheerleaders”.
