Four weeks ago, I received a disturbing call from my dad who told me that my mum had collapsed while at home and was rushed to the hospital. My mum had been weak for close to a year. She was experiencing heavy coughs, general body weakness but whenever we took her to the hospital, the doctors would say that she was just fatigued and needed to rest.

But when my dad called me, it sounded very serious. He told me she gotten very weak and collapsed after trying to stand. I rushed to the hospital where she had been admitted and even when I arrived, she had not regained her consciousness and we were all getting scared because she looked very weak.

The doctors ran some tests to her and the next day the doctor gave us very bad news. He said that he found very huge traces of TB in her blood and she was bound to die in less than three months since she had been diagnosed late. We cried so much together with my dad and siblings.

Our pain stemmed from the fact that other doctors had ignored my mum’s symptoms and gave a wrong diagnosis. Few days later, the doctor gave my mum some medicines and discharged her. Her cough became so intense and she also became so weak in her body.

In a matter of days, my mom was seriously ill and she could not even go to the toilet by herself. My family was becoming too worried and all doctors whom we called to help us said that my mum’s last days were fast approaching.

Two days later, our elder sister woke us up in the middle of the night and told us she had found a solution in the internet that would heal my mother permanently.

“His name is Doctor Mugwenu. I found a testimonial on Facebook on how a certain man was healed of TB after using his traditional medicines. I found his contact details and after I called him, he asked me to take our mother to him tomorrow,” my sister said excitedly.

We were all so happy because we had lost all the hope we had of my mother ever getting well. We drove my mother to Doctor Mugwenu’s workplace in Nairobi and when we arrived, he gave her a concoction of herbs to drink and also cast a spell to chase away the TB from her body.

Guess what people? Immediately, she started regaining her strength such that she even walked herself to the car while we were going home. We could not believe it. In a span of a week, my mum was doing great and after we went to the hospital, the doctor said all the TB in her body disappeared, to this date, we are always grateful to Daktari for saving our mum’s life.
