President William Ruto has made new changes to the Foreign Service docket by nominating new Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and Permanent Representatives in Kenya’s missions abroad.
In a statement on Friday, State House Chief of Staff Felix Koskei said the nominees have been forwarded to Parliament for vetting.
“His Excellency the president has transmitted the nominations of High Commissioners, Ambassadors, and Permanent Representatives to the National Assembly for consideration and approval by Parliament in fulfillment of the legal requirements set out under our nation’s supreme law,” read the statement in part.
The nominees include former Communicatiions Authority Director General Ezra Chiloba, former Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi, and former Kisumu Senator Fred Outa.
Ruto also nominated former West Mugirango MP Kemosi Mogaka and Former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Vice President Caroline Kamende Daudi.

“The government of Kenya has, pursuant to Article 67 of the Treaty on Establishment of the East African Community, nominated Ms. Caroline Mwende Mueke for appointment by the Summit of the Heads of State as the Secretary-General of the East African Community,” Felix Koskei stated.
