Betting has participated in economic growth, more so SportPesa through paying of revenues and taxes.

Nonetheless, after all the expenses, the firm managed to mint  Ksh.100 billion in a period of one year.

This explains the main interests of people who have invested in the firm since it is paying back in huge interests.

The recent restrictions on gambling initiated by the internal Cs Matiang’i have greatly affected the firm with some of its directors facing deportation.

This puts into perspective most likely loss of the business for the firm as well as lack of market.

New betting firms have also cropped up and are most likely to pose as huge competitors for SportPesa.

With billions yielded in one year alone, the firm has surely made a lot since their existence in the Kenyan market.
